Touching Lives through God's Love
DiversWelcome to Lake Denton Camp's Website! We are THRILLED to be able to be serving your needs.
For those that may be new to us, you need the following items when you come:
1. Lake Denton Management, Inc. needs to be listed as additionally insured and we need a copy of the certificate of insurance with that on it.
2. We need a copy of your PADI or NAUI card on file. You must sign a release of liability(which you can download here) and present it when you dive. If it is a 2 day dive, put both dates on one. Instructors only have to have one on file for the duration of their liability insurance.
3. The fee for diving is $10.00 paid when you dive and there is no fee for the dive master or instructor.
4. All divers need to be scheduled through Phil Elders. His cell phone # is 863-634-8722 or the camp #863-453-3627.
5. Please bring as few cars as needed-perhaps carpooling from Wal Mart or something like that due to our limited parking spaces. We have room for about 20-24 cars. We will do our best to park all.
6. Please do NOT talk to the campers that are at the camp. We want the parents to be as comfortable with your group being on the premises at the same time as possible.
7. The parking is at the west end at what we refer to as the “Coker House”. If you need to park elsewhere arrangements must be made through Phil or Pam Elders and we will do what we can to accommodate.
8. Although we will do all we can to keep your cars and equipment safe, we make no guarantees. You park and dive at your own risk.
9. The shower and changing room is available for your use; however you MUST rinse the sand off before showering as much as possible since our drain is not equipped to handle so much sand.
10. You must use a dive flag when diving. We do not have extra supplies to lend out and there are boaters who need to be aware of where you are diving.
LAST BUT NOT LEAST---
Thank you for using our premises. We want you to know that the funds you pay will be used for scholarships for campers this summer. We are here to share God’s love and free gift to all and we never want money to get in the way of a camper coming. THANK YOU!!!
